When it comes to shipping birds, there are several factors to consider. Shipping live animals requires special care and attention to ensure their well-being throughout the transportation process. That is why we make sure there’s enough food and water for our feathered companions before they are shipped.

Three Shipping Methods

1. Air Freight: Air freight is one of the most common methods used for shipping birds. It involves transporting birds via commercial airlines in specially designed containers or crates. This method allows for faster delivery times, especially for long-distance shipments. Airlines have specific regulations and guidelines for shipping live animals, including birds, to ensure their safety and comfort during transit. It is important to choose an airline that has experience in handling live animal shipments and provides appropriate facilities and care.


2. Ground Transportation: Ground transportation can be an alternative option for shipping birds, especially for shorter distances. This method involves using specialized pet transport services or professional animal couriers who have experience in handling live bird shipments. Ground transportation allows for more personalized care and attention during transit, as the birds are not subjected to the same time constraints as air freight. However, it may take longer for the birds to reach their destination compared to air freight.


3. Specialized Bird Shipping Services: There are specialized bird shipping services available that cater specifically to the transportation of birds. These services often have extensive experience in handling various bird species and provide customized solutions for safe and secure shipping. They may offer additional services such as temperature-controlled environments, tracking systems, and insurance options to ensure the well-being of the birds during transit.

 

To Initiate a Return

Please contact our customer service team at glamparrots@gmail.com. We will provide you with a return shipping label and instructions on how to package your item for return. Once we receive your returned item, we will process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days.
Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. We do not accept returns on items that have been worn or altered.


Exceptions

There are certain items that cannot be returned or exchanged, including:
1. Food and Treats: These items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable due to health and safety concerns.
2. Bird Toys and Accessories: These items are non-returnable and non-exchangeable if they have been used or damaged.
